Early-Turkey Bowl – this year we are holding our traditional Turkey Bowl event on Sunday, November 17, 2024. This is due to a track closure during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We were also able to secure a hard-to-get sound limit of 103db.

Event Fees
- One Day: $450 per car/per run group
- One Day Club Membership fee $20, No membership charge for club members in good standing.
Schedule
- Sunday mandatory Driver's meeting at 8am
- Run Group schedule will be posted the week before the event
Parking
- Trailers can be dropped off and left in the paddock overnight. Details about access and gate closure will be sent in your instructions email the week prior to the event.
- No camping in the Paddock.
- Camping is available outside the track at Laguna Seca Recreation Area Campgrounds.
- Garage rental through the track. Complete the Garage Rental Agreement and bring to the track with you.
Non-participant/Spectators: Allowed, no cost.
Passengers: Allowed, must be 18.
Pets: Allowed in the paddock, must always be on a leash. Please clean up after your pets.
Event requirements
- Sound Limit: 105dB. Mufflers required on all cars.
- Open wheels vehicles are not allowed.
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
- Drivers under 18 must contact the registrar for approval and required minor waiver.
- All cars must display a car number.
- All drivers must sign the Speed Waiver.
- All drivers and passengers must comply with the NorCal SAAC Open Track Rules.
- All passengers must sign the Passenger Waiver and provide emergency medical information.
Car Numbers
All cars must display a car number. 1, 2 or 3-digit numbers only (no alphabetic or other characters). The digits must be at least 10 inches high with a 1-inch-wide stroke and be in a strongly contrasting color to the color of the car. Shoe polish on the windows will not be permitted. This number must be displayed on the car at all times while on the track. It must be displayed on both sides at a minimum. An additional location on the hood is recommended.
Tech Inspection
Car preparation and technical inspection are the responsibility of the participant. During the registration process, all drivers must affirm that their cars have been inspected and prepared for the event. OTEC officials may inspect cars, at their sole discretion, at an event and any car judged to fail the inspection will not be allowed on the track. All cars participating must present a completed and signed copy of the Tech Form.
Protective Clothing
Drivers and passengers are required to have the following attire:
- Fireproof Gloves
- Long-sleeve cotton shirt
- Full-length pants
- Non-melting shoes
- Helmet with a SNELL rating of SA2015 and M2015. No DOT only helmets.

Open Track Run Groups
Yellow - Novice: Limited track experience. Controlled passing zones. No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Red - Intermediate: Driver knows how to drive the line. Driver is capable of observing corner workers and obey flag signals. Additional passing zones granted. No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Purple - Intermediate-Advanced: Driver is comfortable with traffic. Car/Driver speeds are faster. Additional passing zones granted. No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Green - Advanced: Driver is comfortable with traffic. Car/Driver speeds are faster. Additional passing zones granted. No special equipment required except for convertibles*
*Convertibles require roll bar or factory installed rollover protection. Cobras with 3-point bars OK, no passengers allowed.
